Then select “Add to Chrome” to install the LockDown Browser Extension. The University LockDown Browser installation link on the Institutions Page will direct the student to the Chrome web store. Students will NOT be able to search for the app directly from the Chrome web store. They can do this by logging in to Blackboard and clicking the Respondus LockDown Browser/Respondus Monitor link on the Institutions Page under “Helpful Links.” Students will need to download and install the chrome extension of Respondus LockDown Browser. Students can follow the Student Instructions for iPads. Students will need to download the iPad Edition of “LockDown Browser” (available from the Apple App Store). The instructor must grant permission to use iPads in the advanced settings when deploying exams that use Respondus LockDown Browser and/or Monitor.
